Unlike multi-cylinder units, Sandvik single-cylinder crushers rely heavily on a bottom hydraulic cylinder pushing the main shaft vertically. The Step Washer assembly (including the top, middle, and bottom steps) takes the brunt of this rotational and vertical force. Our components are cast from high-lead bronze and tempered tool-grade steel to ensure perfect oil film formation and minimize coefficient friction.
